This model is richly embellished with mother-of-pearl inlays on the fingerboard and an insignia dung-beetle of abalone pearl in the center of the peg-head. If desired, the beetle can be replaced with the ornament from the third fret. The varnish is shiny and the edges of the instrument are more ornate. The tone ring is cast from a bell-bronze alloy.
